No matter what holiday you celebrate I hope you enjoy taking a break with family and friends. I can’t believe that it is Christmas Eve already! It really snuck up on me this year! It took a little to fully get in the holiday mood, but now that it is here I’m excited to be celebrating the first Christmas in the new house and our first Christmas with Henry!
Henry found a few of his Christmas gifts early underneath the tree and is in love with his little snowman.
He may be a little spoiled, but we are so glad that he is part of our family now. He still has some major fears and cowers from most men. We continually work on socializing him and he has made some huge improvements since we adopted him at the end of July. He even usually goes to the nursing home at least once a week and brings a lot of joy to many people! The goal is that he will pass his therapy dog certification, but he still is very shy around certain people, but we are working on it! I’m looking forward to having the whole family together! I’m focusing on family and not the food this holiday. My sister may have made some amazing chocolate chip cookies last night, but I limited myself to one! I’m planning to stay on track and continue to do my T25 workouts. I can enjoy the holiday without over indulging. Don’t worry if you do though, it happens. All we can do is plan and do better the next day.
